Business - Director at Savills and specialises in customer service and effective management of property. He is a leading expert in all sectors of property management including retirement living, the burgeoning multifamily sector in the UK as well as residential long leasehold. Roger regularly contributes articles and media comment on all aspects of housing delivery and management.

Valerie Boakes
Livery and City: Liveryman and past Court Assistant of the Worshipful Company of Marketors. where she serves on the Aim 1 Committee. In 2010 became President of the City Livery Club. Business: Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Awarded a Churchill Fellowship in 1973 to study European Common Agricultural Policy. Fifteen years owning and running a direct marketing company; previously, Marketing Director, Whitworth Sugars and Senior Buyer, Allied Lyons. Has held non-executive directorships of Home-Grown Cereals Authority, Horticulture Research International, Legal Aid Board and Foundation for Management Education 
Dr Trevor Brignall
City & Livery: Trevor is a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Marketors, where he served on their Court for seven years and chaired their Charitable Trust and numerous committees. A past member of the Financial Services Group, he is the Senior Vice President of the City Livery Club, President of Aldgate Ward Club, Hon. Secretary of the Ward of Cheap Club where he was the previous Treasurer, a member of Farringdon Ward Club where he serves on their Committee and a Juror of the Guildable Manor of Southwark. Trevor acted as election agent for Fiona Adler and Dr Christine Rigden and played prominent roles on seven other Shrieval elections.
Business: Trevor's career included director, senior executive, partner and senior partner roles in leading global businesses and partnerships including BIS, British Telecom, E&Y, Cap Gemini, Arthur D Little and Logica where he was latterly the global head of consulting.
Keith Bottomley Deputy
City & Livery: He was elected to the Court of Common Council in July 2015 to represent Bridge Ward and is a member of the City Corporation's Policy Committee. Keith also serves on the Police, Planning & Transportation, Licensing, Investment Committee, Property Investment and Economic Crime Boards. He is Deputy Chairman of the City's Port Health and Environment Committee and past Chairman of Broad Street Ward Club. Keith is a Wheelwright, and Pattenmaker.
Business: Keith is a Chartered Banker and consults in Marketing and Communications.
Public & Charity: As a governor of 2 schools, Keith is particularly committed to youth, education and social mobility agendas and is a Trustee of Partnership for Young London, the Central Foundation Schools of London and Housing for the Homeless Central Fund.

Mark Chambers
City & Livery: Mark was Master Pewterer in 2015/16 and currently serves as Chairman of the Phoenix Masters Association (Lord Mountevans' mayoral year). He is a member of the Coleman Street Ward Club.
Business: Mark spent 35 years in finance mostly in the City of London but also in New York, Paris and Zurich. For the first half of his career he was involved in trading and investment banking. From 1994 until retirement in 2013 he held a range of senior management positions at Man Group Plc the world’s largest listed hedge fund manager. 
Charity: Following retirement from the City he holds several non-executive positions and is involved in a number of charitable activities including chairing the Board of Governors of a special needs school.
Bill Fraser OBE
City & Livery: Bill was a Member of Common Council from 1981 - 2017, and amongst other Chairmanships served as Chairman of the Livery Committee 2010 - 2013. He was Chief Commoner in 2009, Master Gardener in 2006, and is a Liveryman of the Musicians’ Company. A member of the United Wards’ Club,,and the Guild of Freemen. Bill has also served as President of the City Livery Club and the Royal Society of St George (City of London Branch). Chairman of Neil Redcliffe’s Shrieval Campaign Committee.
Business: Bill is a retired stock broker
David Goddard
City & Livery:  Liveryman of the Bakers’ Company 1978. Master 2009/2010, Chairman of The Power of Ten Past Masters' Association, Member of Tower Ward Club, Freeman of Solicitors' Company.
Business: Practised law in the City from 1970 to 1993 carrying out company commercial, commercial property development and private client work. Practised from 1993 until retirement in September 2009 running own private client firm.
Public & Charity: Elected member of Wandsworth Council 1982-1990, Chairman of Housing and Establishment Committees. Deputy Mayor of Wandsworth 1989-1990.  Churchwarden, St Luke’s, Battersea 1993-2001, Chairman of Site Committee for new church hall attached to Grade 2* listed church. Member (and sometime secretary) of Battersea Deanery Synod 1993-2014. Member of the Reform Club since 1975.
Peter Green
Livery: Peter is a Freeman of the International Bankers and Committee Member of the Firebirds Past Mistresses and Consorts Association.
City and business: Peter’s career spans over 35 years in the financial services industry, primarily with Citibank and subsequently working independently for global banks, major multinational companies and central banks on clearing and settlement systems, cash management and corporate treasury. He is consultant to the Central Bank of Nigeria for their payment systems strategy, has been chairman of the SWIFT (UK) Overseas Bank Committee and APACS EDI Expert Panel, regularly chairs International Corporate Treasury and Supply Chain conferences for EuroFinance, and enjoys sharing his experience with aspiring talent through tutoring graduate and intern programs for three major banks across EMEA, Americas and Asia.
Interests: Has a confirmed place in the London Marathon 2018 running for Samaritans – the nominated charity of the Lord Mayor-elect. Time permitting, also enjoys photography, gardening and golf.

Chris Hayward
City & Livery: Chris was elected to the Court of Common Council representing Broad Street Ward in March 2013, and serves as Chairman of the City’s Planning & Transportation Committee. Master Pattenmaker 2015, and a member of the Parish Clerks’ Company. Chris is a Past Chairman of the Broad Street Ward Club, a member of the Candlewick and Coleman Street Ward Clubs, Life and Council Member of the City Branch of the Royal Society of Saint George, and a Life and Court member of The Guild of Freemen.
Public & Charity: Chris is a former Deputy Leader of Hertfordshire County Council. Served as a Churchwarden at St Margaret Pattens, and Chairman of The Trustees of the Friends of St Margaret Pattens.

Professor Jim Kelly
Livery and City: Jim is Past Master of The Worshipful Company of Upholders and President of the Institute of Directors, Central London. Past Chairman, now a Vice President, of the City of London Branch of The Royal Society of St George, he is also a Council Member of the City Livery Club, a member of Castle Baynard and Coleman Street Ward Clubs as well as The First Eleven and Diamonds’ Past Masters’ Associations.   Jim served as a member on the successful campaign committees for Sheriff Fiona Adler and Dr Christine Rigden as well as assisting Alderman Peter Estlin and Alderman William Russell in the run up to their year as Sheriffs.
Academic: Professor Kelly has worked in the City for over 20 years, and is advisor to London Guildhall Faculty of Business & Law, London Metropolitan University. 
Mei Sim Lai
Livery: Master of the World Traders' Company 2011-2012, member of the Court of the Horners' Company.  President of City Livery Club 2006-2007.
City and Business: Mei Sim is the Founder of LaiPeters & Co, Chartered Accountants.  Honorary Life Fellow of the Institute of Directors and Hon Secretary of City of London branch since 1991. Since 2006 Mei Sim has been one of HM the Queen’s Representatives in Greater London.  Current Board/ Committee positions include the British Malaysian Society, The Oriental Club, International Women of Excellence, the Lord Mayor’s Big Curry Lunch, Mulan Foundation Network and Chinese Welfare Trust. In November 2017 Mei Sim won the Chinese Business Leaders Outstanding Contribution award in recognition of her work in the community and her promotion of culture and diversity. She is also a Past Winner of the Asian Women of Achievement Award for public service. 
Judith Pleasance
Business: Formerly Head of Membership Development at the Royal Opera House, Judith is a Special Projects & Events Consultant, advising on marketing and managing projects, including at Guildhall, Mansion House, Buckingham Palace, St James’s Palace, Kensington Palace and Windsor Castle. She has been Assistant Clerk to The World Traders, Clerk to The Security Professionals, Interim Clerk to The Company of PR Practitioners and Chief of Staff & Special Projects Director to Alderman Sir David Wootton, the late Lord Mayor. 
City and Livery: Past Chairman of Langbourn Ward Club, Liveryman Clockmaker, Upholder and Woolman. Member of Langbourn (Past Chairman), Cripplegate, Aldgate and Farringdon Ward Clubs and Council member of City Livery Club and the Royal Society of St George.  Elected to the Court of Common Council (Independent, Langbourn Ward) in 2013 and re-elected in 2017, Judith has served on many Council Committees, coordinates the Langbourn Business Forum meetings and edits the Langbourn Ward Newsletter.

Judith served on the successful campaign committees of Sheriff Fiona Adler, Dr Christine Rigden and Alderman Peter Estlin.
Nic Somers
Livery and City: Nic was Master of the Worshipful Company of Arts Scholars (2013-2014) and is the Immediate Past Master Turner (2016-2017). He is on the Council of the City Livery Club and is a Juror of the Guidable Manor of Southwark.
Business; Nic spent his professional career as a Chartered Art and Antiques Surveyor. He was Chairman of the RICS Art and Antiques Faculty, a Director of Sotheby’s and had his own practice as a Forensic Appraiser, producing expert witness reports for court. 

Judy Tayler-Smith
City & Livery: Master of the Worshipful Company of Upholders (2017- Present), President of the City Livery Club (2012-13) and Director of the City Livery Club for 12 years , Master of Cripplegate Ward Club (2013-14), President of Farringdon Ward Club (2015-16), Master of the Tanners Company of Bermondsey (2016-17; and the first lady Master since it’s Royal Charter in 1703 ), Court Assistant of the Worshipful Company of Basketmakers, Constable for the Guildable Manor of Southwark, Dame Grand Commandeur, Chancelier & Deputy Ambassador, for the Confrérie du Sabre d’Or, and Dame Officier of the Ordres des Coteaux de Champagne.
She is also a member of the ‘Great 13’, Past Master’s Association, a Committee Member of the ‘Prime Masters’, Past Master’s Association; member of the Lady Masters’ Association; a life member of the Guild of Freemen, a member of the Royal Society of St. George (City of London and Westminster Branches) and a member of the United Wards’ Club. Other past roles include, Chairman (2006-08) and Hon. Secretary, City Livery Wine Circle (Founder member 1999), Chairman of the International Wine and Food Society, London Branch (2008-10); Hon. Archivist of the Worshipful Company of Upholders (2009 – 17); Hon Archivist of the City Livery Club (2010 -15).

Judy has served on three successful Shrieval Campaign Committees, with this being the fourth.
Adèle Thorpe
City & Livery: Adèle is a Past Master of the Chartered Secretaries Company, Honorary Liveryman and former Clerk of the Marketors Company. She is a Court Assistant of the World Traders Company, and former Chairman of their Membership Committee, previously Clerk to the Worshipful Company of Management Consultants and is Clerk Emeritus and a Freeman of the Guild of Entrepreneurs.  Founding Chairman of the Lady Masters Association and Vice-President and Founding Chairman of the Past Masters Association for 2007/8 Livery Masters. Past President of both the Ward of Cheap Club and the Aldgate Ward Club, having also served as Secretary of the Ward of Cheap Club and member and former committee member of Vintry and Dowgate Ward Club and member of United Wards Club.  She is Secretary and Junior Vice-President elect of the City Livery Club, Flesh taster of the Guildable Manor of Southwark, Ward Beadle for Cripplegate Without and member of the Ward Beadles Association.  She has served over ten Lord Mayor’s Appeal committees, Shrieval election committees and Chain committees, and has been a representative on the Financial Services Group of Liveries.
Business:After serving three years in audit with a firm of Chartered Accountants, Adèle held finance positions in the music, import/export and property industries before becoming European Controller for her first IT company Amdahl in 1980. She served as Finance Director or equivalent for Tandem Computers, Sybase and Control Data before setting up a consultancy. In this, she assisted several American IT corporations to set up in Europe and other clients included Pearson, BT Syntegra, Hewlett Packard and SAP.
Richard Wells, ACII
City & Livery: Master Makers of Playing Cards. Freeman of the Gardeners’ Company since 1985.
Business: Associate of The Chartered Insurance Institute. Joined Lloyds insurance brokers and became Group Managing Director. Director of the merchant bank, Henry Ansbacher Holdings Plc and Managing Director of its insurance operations, Seascope. Appointed Managing Director of Windsor Plc before establishing his own broking consultancy specialising in company ‘turn-rounds’ and provision of general management experience. Chairman of Senior Wright Ltd for 20 years and Deputy Chairman of the SCB Group for over 10 years. Richard still works part-time as a Partner with the Lloyds’ Broker, European Speciality Risks Ltd.
Public: Past Conservative Councillor of Lewisham serving on the Amenities and Establishment Committees, and represented the Borough on the Territorial Army & Voluntary Reserve Council, having previously served with Lloyd’s Company, Rifle Brigade Rangers TA.
Peter White
City and Livery: Master Framework Knitters’ April 2017. Chairman of the Cottage Homes Committee whilst Upper Warden, and a current member of the Education, Social, and Finance and General Purposes Committees. Represented the Framework Knitters’ at golf and swimming and organised the FWK annual golf day for a number of years.
Business and professional: Peter trained as a Mechanical Engineer with Smiths Industries. He transferred into their Group Publicity and became a Member of The Advertising Association and a Member of the Communication, Advertising and Marketing society. Peter joined Esso Petroleum as a sales engineer, before moving to Mobil Oil where he specialised in Marketing, and he later became a Director of the Mobil Trustee Company Ltd.
Public: Life Member of The Royal Automobile Club. Other clubs include The 1964 Club, Fishing for Fun and The National Trust. Peter was a member of the St Martins Church PCC, and is a Sidesman. He is a Trustee of the Epsom Parochial Charities.
